It seems to calm my girls, but when someone comes to the door it is complete bark mode. There just isn’t anything to calm them when the protective mode sets in. 😄😄
We like the fur life flea and tick, but it doesn’t last any longer than a few months and the ticks come in. We initially purchased two and when we opened the second collar , it wasn’t the same. The calming collar also was 2 years ago and was fine. But this one we just got no more than a week , six days, didn’t help with the 4th. Losing some faith

My dog lost two brothers, and her anxiety skyrocketed. I tried the calming vest; it didn't do much despite the price. This collar does not do much, either. So why five stars? She used to scream in the middle of the night while sleeping. Every night. But after she started wearing it, it stopped right away. Despite intense anxiety during the daytime and nighttime, no screaming was a big help for me. I had to wake up every night to stop her screaming/barking uncontrollably. Currently she use second one, and I will try to stop next month to see if she starts barking again.
I have to say I was a bit skeptical to try those collars out on my two dogs but let me tell you I was truly shocked with the results. My dog has separation anxiety and really bad noise anxiety I have tried so many things! Calming medicine doesn’t work and I have tried other items I found on Amazon to help and nothing is working so I just ordered these calming collars to see if they would help… they smell really good I have a large dog and a Pomeranian I didn’t have to cut the collar for my large dog. She weighs about 85 pounds but I did cut it for my Pom. They both smell really good so that’s a plus the scent lasts a long time they both have had it on for about a week & I put it on at night time & if I know there’s going to be noise that will bother them. The first few days they wore it there was severe thunderstorms every day lol and it seemed to help calm them more. It’s not going to solve the whole problem for my two dogs but this definitely helps calm them down a lot. Both of my dogs seemed less anxious during the thunderstorms so I noticed that. Plus they smell really good 😊 lol. It’s still to soon to tell if it will solve the problem but like I said I can tell a difference. I will update my review after a few more weeks. But if your like me trying to find ANYTHING to help calm your dogs then try these. It’s worth a shot. It also came with a keychain clicker. I forget what they call them but I use it. 😊✔️😊
My rescue dog is terrified of the bug zapper in our living room. He also suffers from separation anxiety. I got the collar bc not even his thunder shirt can calm him when the bug zapper is on. He hides under the furniture and shakes and cries. The picture above is him asleep in the same room with the bug zapper on while wearing his calming collar. We can leave the house to run errands and he doesn’t shake and cry anymore. I don’t know how or why it works so well, but it really does. I had tried melatonin, Benadryl and thunder shirt in the past, but nothing works like the collar. He is still aware of the bug zapper and gives it a look every now and then but it doesn’t rule him anymore. I gave my sister one of the collars from the 4 pack for her rescue pit bull and she says it has made a world of difference. Her dog has separation anxiety so bad she will make herself vomit. Now they put the collar on about an hour before they leave and her dog is chill and goes and lays down in her kennel. The dogs are not sedated by meds the are just overall calmer.
Lasted no more than 10 minutes and I monitored her because I could tell she was trying to fight off the drowsiness, but it did kick in. Then it really seems to adjust to her body and when she is experiencing high stress levels it calms her, but it doesn't affect her daily behavior after routine wear. I definitely would recommend.

any little bump or noise he hears makes him just go off. I got some of these collars for an anxious cat I have and it worked really well so I seen they had them for dogs as well! So I tried them. And they work! I mean he hasn’t completed stopped his barking but it hasn’t been as much or as often.
